You can upgrade your characters' weapons and abilities throughout the game. It plays a lot like the last Fire Emblem, and at first glance it looks pretty much the same too. voila - Fire Emblem found a fanbase in the West! One of the characters, Marth, was quite powerful and lots of people used him so. That is, until 2 of its characters were put in Super Smash Brothers: Melee. It's Interesting Jung, the Fire Emblem series is hugely popular in Japan but it never really made it in the West. Not so for Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, the sequel to the massive Gamecube and Game Boy Advance successes, and which also happens to be made by the studio behind Advance Wars. The Wii isn't exactly known for superior hardware, and combined with its innovative controls, this means a lot of games have to be made in a different WAY for the Wii.
